Workforce Manager Takes New Position at Highline

Tanya Powers, Workforce Education Service’s program manager, will leave the Workforce office this week to start a new job as Director of Applied Baccalaureate and Workforce Education at Highline.

Tanya has served as program manager for Workforce for the past year and half. She came to Highline from Seattle Central Community College, where she worked in Workforce Education and taught in the Bachelor of Applied Behavioral Science program. She is currently completing her doctoral program in Educational Leadership at Seattle University.

In her new position, Tanya will no longer supervise the Workforce office. Loyal Allen, Workforce advisor, will serve as interim manager.

We wish the best of luck to Tanya. She will be missed!
