Highline has partnered with United Way of King County to host free tax preparation services to students and to the public.
Households that make less than $60,000 a year, with tax returns that don’t involve business taxes, rental income, or sale of property or stocks, are eligible.
No appointment is necessary. Drop in Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 – 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Jan. 14 through April 18. Sessions are in the Highline Outreach Center, 23835 Pacific Highway S., Kent – also known as Building 99 – in room 251.
Bring your Social Security card/ITIN letters for everyone on the return, photo ID, and all tax statements, for example: W-2 forms, 1099 forms or SSA-1099 forms. Bringing bank account numbers, routing numbers and a copy of last year’s tax return is also highly recommended.
If filing a return with your spouse, both spouses must be present to e-file.
